Mole Business Park – Strategic EPC and Net Zero Carbon Planning
To support long-term sustainability and operational efficiency of two units at Mole Business Park, Lynx Energy and Carbon Assessors conducted a comprehensive energy assessment and strategic planning on the EPC 1980s C-rated buildings. Patrizia, the owner, tasked us with developing a clear roadmap to make the buildings more energy efficient and achieve a net-zero carbon-enabled status.
Our team analysed current energy performance and compliance with Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) and identified opportunities for efficiency upgrades. Using detailed building energy modelling, we recommended microgeneration solutions to optimise performance.
By delivering a data-driven roadmap and actionable recommendations, we enabled Patrizia to reduce operational costs, improve sustainability, and future-proof the property for environmentally-conscious tenants. Working alongside Lynx Sustainable Solutions, our insights were implemented to maximise renewable energy generation and long-term carbon reduction.
What our clients say about us
“We are incredibly pleased with the service from the Lynx Group at Mole Business Park. Before the installation, we faced the challenge of improving our energy performance rating for a late 1980s building, aiming to raise it from EPC C to an A rating. From initial carbon modelling through to installation, the solution Lynx provided met and exceeded our expectations, delivering immediate value.
Lynx Group was our preferred supplier for the carbon modelling and microgeneration elements of the building refurbishment. From the outset, the team at Lynx Group, particularly James at Lynx Energy and Carbon Assessors and Matthew at Lynx Sustainable Solutions, were proactive and responsive and made their part of the process effortless.
The benefits were immediate. Within weeks of installation, we secured a tenant attracted by the solar panels and efficiency of the building, which offers them energy at no additional cost. This rapid return on investment not only increased the property’s value but also had a positive impact on our operations and overall strategy. This project is just the beginning for us, and we look forward to expanding our sustainability initiatives with Lynx as a core supplier.
I highly recommend Lynx Group, notably Lynx Energy and Carbon Assessors, and Lynx Sustainable Solutions. Their professionalism, expertise, and ability to deliver results have been outstanding.”
